Basically, the tectonic plates are forms the in lithosphere and are always in movement of either colliding with each other, moving apart from each other or moving towards each one another.

In this case, the plates of the continents is one which keep moving towards one another.

There is no concrete evidence that the continent will eventually meet, but there will be significant reduction in distance between the location of each continent.
