Hannah Senesh was a special operations executive and one of the jewish recruits who were sent to Yugoslavia by the Great Britain during the second world war for assisting anti-Nazi forces and rescuing the Hungarian Jews. She was later arrested near the Hungarian border and executed by the Nazi firing squad for not revealing the details. She is a national heroine in Israel.  

Hanna was born in Hungary and she was first exposed to  antisemitism during her high school years which propelled her to discover more about her Jewish roots.
