Hello!

To find the lateral area of a cone you use the equation

[tex]A = \pi r \sqrt{ h^{2} + r^{2} } [/tex]

A is area
r is radius
h is height

The radius is have the diameter

Put in the values you know

[tex]A= \pi 80 \sqrt{ 60^{2} + 80^{2} } [/tex]

Square the numbers

[tex]A = \pi 80 \sqrt{3600+6400 } [/tex]\

Add

[tex]A = \pi 80 \sqrt{10000} [/tex]

Take the square root

[tex]A = \pi 80 * 100[/tex]

Multiply 80 and 100

[tex]A = \pi 8000[/tex]

Multiply

25133

The answer is [tex]C)25133 m^{2} [/tex]

Hope this helps!
