Mumble, in the film Happy Feet is the main protagonist. At the start of the movie, his role is the social outcast, being the only penguin who cannot sing and instead prefers to dance. He is looked down upon and the other penguins dislike him for being different. Later, he is the daydreamer with his head in the clouds filled with dreams of aliens, then the explorer, coming in contact with the Adélie penguins and learning about their ways. Towards the end of the film Mumble is the hero who saves the penguin’s habitat and discovers that his odd talents will save the day after all.
