This trade carried slaves from Africa to America, cash crops and manufactured goods from America to Europe, and European goods to Africa. It is known as the triangular trade because of the shape this trade took. The Americas was the section of the trade in which crops were grown, furs were traded and minerals were mined. These were valuable goods for Europeans at the time.
