Endocytosis

Endocytosis is the process of whereby cells engulf external substances with the help of its cell membrane. during this process molecules bind to the receptor sites and enclosed in vesicles.

The process of Endocytosis is divided into two processes which are :

  • Pinocytosis and
  • Phagocytosis.

Hence we can conclude that molecules are enclosed in vesicles in the process known as endocytosis.
