slope = (1600 - 900) / (650 - 300) = 700/350 = 2

y = mx + b
slope(m) = 2
(300,900)...x = 300 and y = 900
sub and solve for b
900 = 2(300) + b
900 = 600 + b
900 - 600 = b
300 = b

so ur equation is : y = 2x + 300....so ur 1 time cost is $ 300 and ur repeated cost is $ 2 per card (with x being the number of cards)

for 1000 cards...
y = 2(1000) + 300
y = 2000 + 300
y = 2300 <=== cost for 1000 cards
