Doing quick math the equation would be 8y-33 = 5y+9
I plugged this into m a t h w a y and got y=14
Then I subsituted y with 14
5 x 14 = 70 70 + 9 =79
Then I did a double check by making sure they were both equal
8 x 14 = 112 112 - 33 = 79
79 = 79
Therefore your answer is 79
