Women's employment outside the agricultural sector remains under 20% in WESTERN ASIA, NORTHERN AFRICA AND SOUTHERN ASIA. In these regions, women are still treated as a lesser human being compare to men even though they both have the same educational and professional skills. Women are often given less desirable employments.
