Full name Marcus Vitruvius Pollio was a Roman architect, writer and engineer who was born in 80 to 70 BC. He is famous for his huge book “De architectur”. It is said that Vitruvius’s discussion of perfect proportion in architecture and the human body, gave reason and led to the famous Renaissance drawing by Da Vinci of Vitruvian Man.
