A grandmother says her grandson is two years older than her granddaughter and that together, the are at least 12 years old. How old are her grandson and granddaughter?

I think that the grandson is 14 and the granddaughter is 12.
Let n= the granddaughter and let n+2 = the grandson.

n+n+2>12
2n+2>12
2n>10
n>5

The granddaughter is at least 5 years old.

n+2
5+2=7
n+2>7

The grandson is at least 7 years old.
