is what something literally means, and “connotation” is what a word can make
readers feel by what it implies. That
said, out of the four choices, “stride” is the word that solicits the most feeling
because it is the most descriptive. For
instance, a stride is sort of proud walk.
Thus, the connotation of “stride” is pride or confidence.
