About 6 million Jewish people were forced by Nazis to live in Jewish concentration camps (Judenhäuser in German) and work compulsory forced labor. They were also killed in killing centers or “extermination camps” where they would be killed with toxic gas or shot when found in conquered German territories. Some examples of how the Nazis tortured the Jewish people are flogging/whipping, hanging torture, or assigned to a penal military unit, which is basically a military unit consisting of convicts and prisoners of war.
