factor the difference of 2 perfect squares in the bottom
we get [tex]\frac{x-5}{(x-5)(x+5)}[/tex]
simplified, we get [tex]\frac{1}{x+5}[/tex]
now subsitte 5 for x and get 1/(5+5)=1/10
