ANSWER NOW PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Read the poem “I’m Nobody” by Emily Dickinson and answer the question that follows.

I’m Nobody! Who are you?
Are you — Nobody — too?
Then there’s a pair of us
Don’t tell! they’d advertise — you know!

How dreary — to be — Somebody!
How public — like a Frog —
To tell one’s name — the livelong June —
To an admiring Bog!

Why is the frog simile an effective image of the “Somebody” in Dickinson’s poem?

It blends in and does not disturb the bog.
It’s ugly, but people still admire it.
It croaks loudly, calling attention to itself.
It has many positive qualities that should be admired.

Respuesta :

Did you answer the question because I was gonna say that frogs are very loud and so it would be as public as a frog. Its basically the second part of your question.

C. It croaks loudly, calling attention to itself.
