The Reformation impacted England in the 1500's and 1600's starting 1534 with Henry VIII's adoption of a Protestant national church for his own purposes and running through the English Civil War and till 1660.
How it impacted England was by bringing to England the new Protestant religious/ social ideas, and idea of a national church, by pitting English Protestantism against Catholicism through Elizabeth I's reign till 1603 and then pitting Protestant English Anglicanism against the more radical harsher Protestant 'Calvinism' that had been introduced into Scotland by John Knox 1560 and became an issue of war in the English Civil War of the 1640's.
