Jackson was a "common" oar humble man, he did not come from wealth and grew up without a father, this separated him from the previous presidents and made him stand out. Besides, Jackson was a pow during the revolutionary war, he was a war hero.
He was the first president from the West. He was the first president who came from the working class. He had a more limited education than previous presidents. Because of his direct campaigning, he had more support among “common men” than previous presidents. He disliked the power of the “Eastern aristocracy.”
