The major political parties in Great Britain are:
-The Conservative Party: it is a center-right party of the United Kingdom, that currently holds the majority of the House of Commons, having won 330 of the 650 seats in the 2015 general election. Between 2010 and 2015 it was the party with the most members in Parliament and ruled in coalition with the Liberal Democrats. It is the largest local government party with more than 8296 councilors.
-The Labour Party: it is a left-wing political party of the United Kingdom. Derived from the Worker Representation Committee, it was created in 1900 at a union meeting. It is considered as the main left party in England, Scotland and Wales since 1920. It surpassed the Liberal Party of the United Kingdom for the first time in the general elections at the beginning of the decade of 1920.
