Hadrian had expelled the Jews from Palestine as a punishment for the Bar Kokhba Revolt. Hadrian had not only scattered the Jews, but he has also asked soldiers to destroy the Jewish temples. The revolt was caused by changes in administrative laws and economic decline

Well, The Jews lived in Palestine as a nation under the rule of the Roman Empire until a revolt in A.D. 132 caused the Roman Emperor, Hadrian, to permanently expel the Jews.
