Write a paragraph or two of 150 words that answer the questions below: Which organism do you think is most closely related to a human? Why? Which organisms have five "fingers"? Describe the similarities and differences between a bat's wing and a bird's wing. Which animal's forelimb would you expect a dolphin's flipper to most closely resemble? Why? What does this activity tell you about the relationship between these six organisms?

Humans are most closely related to Chimpanzees because they have the same cytochrome c, as well as alpha and beta hemoglobin chains.
Mammals have five fingers. Humans, Koalas etc., are the example.
Bird wings consist of feathers extending all along the arm, whereas, Bat wings has flaps of skin stretched between the bones of the fingers and arm.
Human forelimb is considered to be most similar to the Dolphin Flipper, because both have humerus bones, and have similar smaller bones in the wrist and finger bones.

Answer:

Lizards.  Mostly because of the bone structure in the arm and forearm. Humans, cats, bats, whales, lizards, and frogs all have 5 "fingers."  Bats have weak layers of skins that web on their wings to glide/fly; meanwhile, birds use feathers that are attached to their skin to help them fly. A whale's fin. Mainly, it's in the same Kingdom,  as well. The fact is that the whale similarly uses its fin. All these organisms aren't too far to be in a different function.
