FDR made a persuasive speech on his State of the Union Address in presenting The Second Bill of Rights. The strategy targeted all Ethos, Pathos, and Logos which are important elements in a persuasive speech. The Ethos because of being a credible President in the eyes of the people. Pathos, for getting the interest of the people through targeting the most basic demands such as housing, education, health care, employment, just income, where the purpose of the law is intended. The logos, through the presentation of facts during FDR's term that supports the condition of the people.
