There are three situations in which a restricted travel card will probably be issued. The three are 1. An individual does not meet the credit requirements for a standard card. 2. The individual declines a credit check. 3. The commanding officer, supervisor, or APC requests a restricted card be issued.
If you fall within the domain of either of these, you will be issued a restricted travel card.
