A customer tells you that they “must have” a particular item that you are out of in your store. You can tell that the customer is impatient and appears to be becoming frustrated. You should tell them as nicely as possible that if it is not in stock, we cannot get it until our next shipment comes in, and it is not in our hands (if you are not the person who buys and gets it delivered) to get it quicker. You should come in the day we get our next shipment, because that's the best time to get your specific item. But other than that, that's how I would handle it.
