Will reward for the brainliest and is giving mass points for just 2 questions! Please help and explain!

Please assist on two questions, is offering 30+ points!

1. Consider the following pair of equations:

−x − y = −5
y = x + 1

If the two equations are graphed, at what point do the lines representing the two equations intersect?

A(−2, 3)
B(3, −2)
C(2, 3)
D(3, 2)

)Consider the following set of equations:

Equation A: y = 2x + 4
Equation B: y = 3x + 1

2. Which of the following is a step that can be used to find the solution to the set of equations?

A2x + 4 = 3x + 1
B2x = 3x + 4
C2x + 4 = 3x
D2x + 1 = 3x + 4

Respuesta :

For Question 1 your answer is C (2,3)
     simply plug 2 in for x, and 3 in for y both answers are equal
For Question 2 your answer is A 2x+4=3x+1
     if you take either equation of what y is equal to, then substitute y for the      expression in the other equation you will find A.

Answer 1.

(2,3)

Answer 2.

2x + 4 = 3x + 1
