1. The area of a parallelogram is base multiplied by height, and the base is 3 cm and the height is 2 cm.  These, multiplied together, equal 6 cm squared.

2. We have the area and the height of the parallelogram, so we can find the base by dividing the area by the height.

44.4/7.4 = 6

3. The area of a square is one side length multiplied by itself.  We can test each number.  2*2 = 4, so that is not the answer.  4*4 is 16, so that must be the answer.  4 mm.

4. The height can be also expressed as 15 feet, because one yard is 3 feet.  Now, we just divide 135 by 15.  This is equal to 9 feet.  As a side note, the drawing is not to scale.

5. You can divide 2.25 by 1/9 to find the length of the room in feet.  2.25/(1/9) is equal to 20.25, so the width is 20.25.  Now, we divide 2.5 by 1/9th.  This is equal to 22.5.  This is the length.  We find the area by multiplying 20.25 and 22.5.  This is equal to 455.625 square feet.
