England began colonizing North America near the 1610´s, in 1607 the first permanent settling of the British colonizers arrived in Jamestown, seeing the success that the Spanish had had in New Spain, now Mexico, they wanted to explore north america in the search for Gold and Silver, and hoping they would find good fertile lands, by that time the had more jobs than workers so they also needed more workers to succcessfully expand their empire.
