Blood pressure is lowered when you lower sodium intake levels

Research indicates that lowering sodium may reduce  blood pressure.  Correct answer: A Sodium raises blood pressure and is associated with increased risk of heart disease. Our body does need small amounts of salt, however the salt naturally occurring in foods is sufficient to meet needs.
