well i know some things aout WW2 and here are the things. World war 2 was taken place when Frankln Delano Roosevelt, 32nd president, was in office. He tried to keep neutral, but helped the UK a lot. What happened in the pacific was that Japan attacked Pearl Harbor in Hawaii. That led the US to officially join WW2 and against hitler and japan.
