describe speciation in the galapagos island finches in terms of the conditions of natural selection

Respuesta :

Basically natural selection means survival of the fittest. On the Galapagos Islands, the types of beaks varied due to the types of foods the finches ate depending on where they were on the island. Because their beaks had to suit the kind of food they ate, many types of finches were created. New species were created because finches ate different things on different parts of the islands and needed to adapt to survive.

Hope this helped you!
