This side of the Paradise, The great Gatsby and Tender is the night are some of his famous novels. He came from a middle-class background, his father was a salesman. His father had to relocate and face unemployment, his background and experiences allowed him to see the effect of not having the wealth and were able to create a perspective of both having and not having the wealth. The period of the 1920s also had a great deal of impact on him which reflected in his work.
