Different levels of states of matter have different energies because of temperature. The colder something is, the slower the molecules, and vice versa for heat.
Cold stuff: Theoretical; has the lowest energy
Boze-Einstein Condensate: closest to cold stuff, extremely low energy
Solid: Molecules are rigid and have low energy
Liquid: Molecules move a little faster and flow together, causing it to have no rigid shape
Gas: Excited molecules that take no shape and only fill the container they are in evenly
Plasma: Extremely high energy and kinetic energy. Very excited molecules
Hot stuff: Theoretical; the most energy you can get. Highest possible excitement of a molecule. I hypothesize that if this were to be created, it would fall apart because the vibrations of the molecule would cause it to fall apart
