It fans the flames of the revolution. Stamp Act. Cause: The British Government needed to create money to support the Army, so they created the Stamp Act of 1765.
Basically, patriots were forced to share their home and food with British troops, and in some cases, the soldiers rapped some of the females living in the homes, one of them I believe was an 11-year-old girl.
