Passive euthanasia can be defined as intentionally letting a patient die by withholding artificial life which in case is chemotherapy to cancer patients, but it can be ventilator or a feeding tube.

Passive euthanasia also includes a drug given to patient such as giving large doses of morphine to the patient to control pain, but instead that the painkiller will suppress the respiratory system and will cause death earlier than it otherwise would have happened.
