Small intestine is majorly involved in digestion of food, especially the fats. Whereas large intestine is mainly involved in absorption. Small intestine is a very long structure present compactly packed surrounded by the large intestine.

Diarrhea is a condition where food is not digested properly. Its main symptom is the watery discharge of stools. It can be followed by other symptoms like nausea, weakness, pain, loss of appetite, etc.
