Mrs. Buchard, an avid knitter, noticed recently that she was having trouble seeing the hole through which to pull the needle and most likely be around age of 40 years which happens due to presbyopia.

As you age, it is common to note changes in your vision. a couple of common changes for older adults include - losing the ability to see up close, having trouble in differentiating colors, such as blue from black, etc.

After you pass the milestone age of forty, you may notice it's tougher to focus on objects up close. This is often as the result of the lens inside the eye begins to lose its ability to alter shape, a process called presbyopia.  It happens for the reason that the lens stops focusing light correctly on the retina.
