Pediatric patients require a small amount of a medication than adults.
In pediatric patients the drug doses or medication depends on their weight and age. but in adults it is not much required. because pediatric patients are there in growing phase , there is a growth occurs physical and mentally , so based on that at what time what amount of drugs is needed is fully depends on their age and weight. and it is also possible that they might got some side effects due to high doses. may some drugs does not suits their body. in that case a small child can to adjust them and feel uncomfortable which may results I death of the patients.thess are all factors which necessary for a pediatric patients while giving them medication.
But in case of adults,they are fully grown up physical and mentally. so if any side effects occurs they can adjust themselves . even there are also a particular amount of medication given to adults. because drug doses should be taken at a particular time to time. e for its successful results .
