Molecular- we all have DNA and we all share the DNA with all living organisms which gives us all a relatedness
Cellular- many parts, features and processes are conserved across organisms (ie cytocrome C)
Even though we have different organisms there are things that are very similar/ the same thing in our different living things
Genetic evolution over time can be shown by comparing the DNA of various organisms. A section of DNA can be used to determine how long ago two species separated from a common ancestor by counting the number of nucleotide changes between them.
Last but not least, molecular biology offers evidence in favor of evolution. All life previously shared a common ancestor, as evidenced in particular by the universality of DNA and the nearly universality of the genetic code for proteins. DNA offers hints about possible evolutionary pathways.
