Perception is the conscious awareness of the stimuli that sensory receptors have received.

The cerebral processing of sensory input into a meaningful pattern is called perception. Although sensations are necessary for perception, not all sensations are recognized. The cells or structures that sense sensations are known as receptors. A stimulation causes a receptor cell to alter.

What are sensory receptors:
