Who is Snowden?

Snowden can be regarded as the American former computer intelligence consultant  that went ahead to disclose information  belonging to National Security Agency when he was working with them.

However in 2012,  United States Department of Justice unsealed charges  for  violating the Espionage Act of 1917  against him.

The Espionage Act can be described as the United States federal law which was set up in 1917, when the United States became part of the World War I.

This act was signed into law by the President Woodrow Wilson in 1917 and it was been used to serves as the instrument of political repression.

After the First World War, Wilson administration was able to prosecute many people on legitimate political speech with this act.
