What is the scientific method?

The procedures include:

- Hypothesis formulation: forming hypotheses about the phenomena. Hypotheses are formed in such a way that they can be falsified.
- Testing of hypotheses: testing is done using relevant experiments. It involves setting up experiments and collecting data.
- Conclusion: The data obtained during experimentation are analyzed and conclusions made. Thereafter, the result is communicated to the scientific community.
