What is human nature according to theses scholar?

Based on the view of Montesquieu  the state of nature individuals  can be see to be so fearful  which made them to be avoiding violence and war.

According to the  Hobbes understanding of human nature, stated that man's natural state does not support  moral ideas, and explained that  people desire and evil as that which they avoid.
