Parietal lobe is one of the four lobes of brain. It is responsible for the receiving the stimulus of touch. Other functions of parietal lobe include sensitivity for taste, hearing, sight, and smell. It is located in the upper back region and is a part of the cerebrum.

Stroke is homologous to heart attack and happens when the supply to the brain is stopped due to damage in blood vessels. This causes a part of the brain to die. It is also known by the name brain attack. Stroke can happen due to high BP, high cholesterol, or diabetes.
