Because the social contracts can be implicit, it is therefore suggestive that a person should treat others the way they want to be treated. Hence, I would be obligated to share my food.

What are social contracts?

The Social Contract Theory, is subject to personal interpretation. It provides that a persons moral compass is guided by the contract or agreement between those living in a place or community.
