The Russian and Ukraine was the ongoing war til now as this was started by the Russia when they want to take the part of the Ukraine region of Crimea.  At that time, Russia seized that part of Ukraine.

What predictions would report make about what is going to happen next with Russia and Ukraine?

It can be said that if the Russia feels treated by the Ukraine they will take the whole Ukraine and expansion of the Russia can be seen in Ukraine.

WWIII can become across if both the countries are not kept separated from the War, but the Russia have more military power to defeat Ukraine.

Thus, The Russian and Ukraine was the ongoing war til now.
