Rembrandt created many versions of his self-portrait, sketching, etching or painting himself more than one hundred times. If you were to create a self-portrait, how would you picture yourself? What setting would you choose? What facial expression? What artistic techniques would you use? What medium would you choose? (paint, pencil, chalk, collage, etc.) Would you use props to show special interests? Remember, a self-portrait not only lets people see your physical features, it also lets people know about your interests, dreams and personality. Use descriptive language so the reader is able to "see" your portrait.

I have mixed feelings on this post. I think the topic should have been explored in more depth. As it is, there are only three questions asked by the author and they are not really answered.

I also think that many people will click on this post because they may feel a little self-conscious about their physical appearance and may want to know what others would expect them to look like if they were to create a portrait of themselves.
