Use the Pythagorean theorem to find the value of b²

So what is the Pythagorean Theorem:
⇒ it states the sum of both leg's lengths squared is equal to
⇒ hypotenuse's length squared

To find out [tex]b^2[/tex], let's look to the Pythagorean equation to see what we are missing:
[tex]a^2 + b^2 = c^2\\(10^2) + b^2 = 325\\b^2 = 325 - 10^2\\b^2 = 325 - 100 = 225\\b^2 = 225[/tex]
So b^2 = 225 ⇒ Choice B
