Akila hopes to pursue a career in the tourism industry. Her high school GPA is adequate for moderately competitive admissions but not for academic scholarships, and she does not want to incur heavy debt before entering the workforce. Akila does not need to request or pursue  a federal  loan from the bank, since she said that she does not want to incur debt or collect loan.

And since  her  high school GPA is adequate for moderately competitive admissions. In order to achieve her set goals she should either:

  • Attend a community college so as to study hospitality.
  • Enroll  in a trade school that tend to offers job.
  • Find  hotels or restaurants that offer apprenticeships.

Inconclusion all other options might be a good option for her EXCEPT : Pursue a federal loan to pay for a four-year degree in hospitality from a reputable university.
