I think Zaroff has a better chance of winning because he has played the game many times and has travelled the entire island and knows where every hiding spot is. This gives him an advantage over Zimmerman, who is very intelligent but knows less about the island than Zaroff.

*SPOILER* Zaroff actually loses but without reading the story him winning is a more logical answer so that’s why i said i think he’d win over Zimmerman but at the end of the story Zimmerman wins
