Viruses are special types of organisms that only live once they are inside a living host. I predict that the viruses would just stay still until they find a living host. In the absence of the living host, the viruses may run out of food and eventually die.
The unicellular species made up of protein and have infectious genetic material is known as viruses. The outer layer of the virus is made of protein. The virus has either RNA or DNA.
The virus does not have its own genomic machinery so it uses the host genomic system to make its own genetic material for replication.
Viruses are non-living outside the human body as they are in the dormant stage or also known as the resting stage. once it infects the host they use their genome to replicate themselves.
If the virus is not able to find another host or living cell then it goes into the inactive stage till it finds the host.
