What are the vertex and x Intercepts of the graph of the function below
y = (x + 4)(x + 2)
A. Vertex (-4,2) intercepts x= 3,-3
B. Vertex (1,-5) interxeptsx= -4,2
C. Vertex (-3,-1) intercepts x= -4,-2
D. Vertex (1,-9) intercepts x= 4, -2

The answer is C. (x+4) would equal to x= -4 because (x+4) would turn into x+4=0, therefore all you have to do is to subtract 4 from both sides so the answer would be -4. Same for (x+2). That's the way my teachers taught me, There is a video on this topic on the site- Virtual Nerd. The answer is C, again. I reccomend the site " Desmos Graphing Calculator " for questions like these.
